SCHOOLS ARE MADE OF PEOPLE: (Written by Donald Drolson for the 1981 all-class reunion at the old Lake Nebagamon School)
Schools are not made of mortar and stone. Schools are made of people. And schools are not made of textbooks alone, Schools are made of people.
Of children, whose laughter, whose smiles and whose tears, echo through hallways worn smooth o’er the years. Remember the good times, and childhood fears? Yes, schools are made of people.
Of school boards, bus drivers, janitors, cooks: Remember that teacher who could give you a look, which would make you stop talking and hide under your book? Yes, schools are made of people.
And schools are made of memories, Or your classmates and teachers, your friends, some are gone; Of your first dance, the class play, of a picnic on the lawn. Memories of people which will always live on. Yes, schools are made of people.

And it’s just for that reason that we’re all here today; To see our old friends, from near and away. For we all went to school at Nebagamon—they say. And schools are made of people!
