Dear Lake Nebagamon Community,

We are happy to announce the Nebagamon Community Association (NCA) has recently elected a new board.

The new board took over responsibility this February for all the wonderful events we have all come to enjoy over the years with our family and friends, which includes the 4th of July.

Unfortunately, we have found there are currently no Fireworks, or Street Dance Band, scheduled for this summer and not enough money to pay for them. The new board immediately started making calls to procure a Fireworks vendor and Street Dance Band and have made a lot of progress. We are confident we will be able to schedule both if we can raise the funds in time.

This is where we need your help! Fireworks vendors purchase the fireworks months ahead of time and therefore require a large sum down. This is usually done in January for a July show but the vendors we are talking with are fortunately willing to work with us and give us a little more time.

Since there isn’t enough time to do a traditional fundraiser, we decided to do a direct ask of the community. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by March 15th

To make the process as easy a possible, the board has set up various ways to donate including an online option though Zeffy, a zero-fee fundraising platform for non-profits.

We are starting to schedule fundraisers for future fireworks so that we will never be in this situation again. Please consider helping to save our fireworks for 2024.
