NCA SPAGHETTI FUNDRAISER:
Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this year’s spaghetti feed fundraiser such a success. Also, thanks to all those that came out that evening to support this event. We are all working hard to be able to provide a 4thFest that will be the best ever for Lake Nebagamon.

FRIGID COLD TEMP:
Some very cold weather conditions have set upon our area. Schools shut down, bridge headed to Duluth shut down, no mail delivery for many door to door mail services. Many businesses closed and regular businesses have been unable to get regular deliveries due to the danger of having employees out in the conditions. Record breaking temps warning those with children and animals to take special care and safety during this time.

FREE ROLLER SKATING:
The NCA sponsored free roller skating every other Sunday has been growing each time. January 20th we had the most skaters since we started. We have also started a small concession stand with treats during skating as a way to help earn some funds to upgrade our skates and keep this growing so more adults and children can have use of available skates/blades. Any donations of skates or blades may be dropped off at the auditorium during regular hours or during skating days.

BOOK ACROSS “BAGAMON”:
It has been decided that we will continue the “Book across “Bagamon” on Saturday, March 2. All are welcome to hike, cross country ski, or snow shoe from the shore of Dockside across to the lighthouse and back (as we did last year). The crew will work hard to get the path across as best we can with the conditions of the frozen lake we have been given this year. Watch for flyers/posters with updates on details and times. Mark the date now and enjoy the event!

Both dates dropped below zero with added wind chill factors, but it was a good turn out, and a great time had by all.
